ANONYMOUS: Bullfighter’s costume known as the “Habit de lumière,” made of red silk and richly embellished with gold thread, trimmings, and beads, consisting of: A jacket, the chaquetilla. A vest, the chaleco. A pair of knee-length breeches, the “taleguilla.” Very small size. Shows signs of wear (the fabric on the non-embroidered part of the breeches is worn). Presumed to date from the late 19th / early 20th century.
