Providing Descriptions, Cultivation Methods, Chemical Composition, Curative or Hazardous Properties, and Economic and Industrial Uses of Plants. Paris: A. Pilon, A. Le Vasseur. 3 volumes in-4 (18.5x27.5 cm), Bradel-style cardboard binding; bindings show some wear, particularly on the caps, but are sturdy. Vol. 1 = 486 pages, Vol. 2 = 488 pages; Vol. 3 = 547 pages. Foxing on the pages of the text volumes, at the beginning of each volume. Plus a very substantial ATLAS, bound in full brown cloth, containing the 3 volumes of plates—150 plates in total—engraved in color on heavy paper and mounted on tabs.
