Oval. Signed, located and dated upper right on the arch pediment Romae Delin ( ) in Roberti 1761 H. 54.5 L. 43.5 cm The technique used here by Hubert Robert and his Latin inscription DELINEAVIT ROMAE H. ROBERTI can be found in two works executed in Rome and dated 1760, La Vue de la villa Madame and La Vue de la villa Sacchetti in the Albertina, Vienna (Cf. Hubert Robert, Un peintre visionnaire ; catalog de l'exposition du musée du Louvre, n° 4 & n° 5 RMN 2016).
