Beautiful VITA SAINT GEORGES ICON painted with enamel on porcelain known as "Rostov enamel", decorated with a central scene depicting Saint George slaying the dragon and twelve border scenes depicting episodes from his life, it is preserved in an 800°/°° silver basma titled 84 zolotnik decorated with a frieze of palmettes on a gray background. The back is sheathed in purple velvet. Goldsmith's hallmark difficult to read (DA in Cyrillic characters?), without city hallmark, before 1899. Length: 20 cm. Height: 22 cm. Gross weight: 857 g.
