Polychrome miniature on ivory* Bearing on the back a label "BOSIO Jean-François (1764- 1827) 9.5 x 8.5 cm *Ivory specimen of Elephantidae spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to July 1, 1947 and therefore compliant with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc, and prior to July 1, 1975 and therefore compliant with the French decrees of May 4, 2017 and January 2022.
