Clara MILL (Born 1966) Storm - vision series, 2019 Mixed media on canvas. 60 x 60 cm Clara Mill started out as a singer, melodist and lyricist, performing on stage and at festivals in France, the United States and Europe, before expressing her personality through the visual arts. In her music, as in video, photography, painting and drawing, she searches for identities to reveal the essence of each individual, composing images that invent and reveal the World. She always tells psychedelic, dreamlike stories. French-British Clara Mill lives and works between London and Paris. "Storm" is a canvas that plays with transparency. Buried beneath the varnish, the nuances of the acrylic paint emerge in the clear rays of daylight. Under low-angled light, the canvas comes alive with movement, like the winds that inspired this work.
