Extraordinary Orthodox pewter devotional object (reliquary? - sacrament storage?). Richly decorated with openwork baroque friezes and numerous saintly figures and angels. It comprises two removable parts: - The cubic lower part, surrounded by four figures, opens through a door revealing three holy figures and two compartments in the upper part. - The upper part features four angels around an open-topped coffin, between four fluted columns topped by four angels supporting a small vessel, the removable top cross serving as a spatula for applying holy oil. In the center hangs a small lamp, complete with suspension. 19th century. Height Height : 48 cm
