Charles OUDIN Gilt bronze clock with mechanical movement. Rectangular case, uprights decorated with Corinthian columns, five glazed sides, carrying handles and striking button on top. Opening back. Fully engine-turned silver dial, black painted minute track and Arabic numerals, auxiliary dial with Arabic numerals for the alarm function. (Strap broken) Signed Charles OUDIN Horloger de la Marine, 17 avenue de l'Opéra, Paris. Glass missing. Case, dial and movement signed. Hand-wound mechanical movement with alarm, hour and quarter repeater functions. N°38 957 Height: 11cm - Width: 7.5cm - Depth: 6.5cm Good condition, scratches from use. The clock was working at the time of the appraisal, a revision is recommended (a hammer is missing for the quarter function).
