The Gazette of Old Paris. The Gazette of Old Paris, edited by a Society of Writers of the Political and Literary Annals. On sale at the “Three Writing Desks” sign, in Old Paris, on Rue des Vieilles Écoles. Complete set of 14 issues; from No. 1 “Gallo-Roman” to No. 14 “Bonaparte in Love.” Each issue consists of a 4-page leaflet, measuring 22 cm x 31 cm, printed on a different type of paper for each issue. Very good condition. For the 1900 World’s Fair, Albert Robida conceived an extraordinary attraction: a reconstruction of Old Paris on the banks of the Seine. A columnist for *Le Figaro*, Arthur Heulhard, served as its promoter, providing the necessary funds through the “Society of Old Paris,” while Albert Robida oversaw the architectural design of the entire complex, the decorative design of the furnishings, costumes, and props, construction management, and commercial promotion through numerous illustrated press articles and related merchandise.
