Henri BERALDI. Bookbinding in the 19th Century, a reprint of the works originally published in Paris in 1895 by Conquet. Art et Métiers du Livre Editions, 1998, limited edition of 500 copies; this copy is No. 57. - 4 volumes in-4 (18x25.5 cm), publisher’s Bradel binding in green cloth: Volume 1—125 pages, Volume 2—253 pages, Volume 3—230 pages, Volume 4—253 pages. Each of these four volumes concludes with an index of the names of bookbinders and gilders cited in that volume. - These first four volumes are reprints of the works originally published by Librairie Conquet in 1895. - The fifth volume, in-4 (18x25.5 cm), 135 pages, is devoted to bookbindings from the Restoration period and was originally published in the *Journal de la Reliure* between 1912 and 1914. All five volumes are in mint condition.
