EMPEROR ALEXANDER II OF RUSSIA. Commemorative flared cylindrical metal goblet with applied copper decoration featuring trophies of arms and centered on a large Rocaille-style double-headed eagle medallion with floral decoration featuring a double left-profile portrait of Emperor Alexander II and his wife Maria Alexandrovna under imperial crown. Work from the second half of the 19th century, with an illegible signature on the reverse of the foot. Height: 12 cm. Diameter: 10.5 cm (minor dents). History: Could be a commemorative goblet for the coronation of the Emperor and Empress in August/September 1856.
